Animation
Computer animation gives creative types a new medium to work with that was formerly reserved for professional studios with big bucks. Like kids in a candy shop we’ve used these tools to create works that animate everything from business concepts to comedy.
Here I’ve added a few animations that I’ve created for business (or fun) using a low-end CGI creation, rendering and animation tool, Bryce.
VCG Trade Show Exhibit Booth Fly-Around, 2007
This animation was created to show VCG management and sales staff a revised exhibit booth that I designed. The booth was 20×20 feet with a 16 foot fabric covered central tower with internal lighting and was used at the American Staffing Association Staffing World Conference in San Diego, California in 2008.
VCG vs. The Death Star
This was a fun little Bryce animation created in 2003 as an introduction to a presentation to staffing and recruiting firm prospects about how VCG’s staffing software and recruiting software could help them beat their competition.
VCG Trade Show Exhibit Booth Fly-Around, 2007
Another animation that was created to give VCG management and sales staff an idea of what a new exhibit booth that I designed would look like. The booth was 20×30 feet and was used at the American Staffing Association Staffing World Conference in San Antonio, Texas in 2007.
StaffSuite Staffing Software Animated Introduction for Demo CD
When VCG (then Caldwell-Spartin) introduced their StaffSuite fully-integrated staffing software in 1999, I created a demonstration CD to give prospective staffing firms an overview of how the software worked. The animation ran at the beginning of the demo. Despite having limited resources available to develop and create the project, the demo CD was successfully used in marketing efforts to bring prospects to close.
